A new start
The past fortnight has been full of new beginnings. I spent two weeks training a batch of new hires at F. - and then I got to be a student in a brand new semester.First, let me tell you about my new hires. Basically, I get to deal with two different audiences - those that have been around a while, and those that are brand new. Both are completely different, but they're both very interesting. What I love about new hires (nh) is that they still believe everything I say. If I give them a five minute break, they take four and a half, if I ask them to do something, they do so (just because I asked them to!). Those that have been around for a while don't believe everything I tell them, but they know sooo much.
Well, this Saturday I got to be a student myself. I realized I'm horrid! I would hate to have to teach me, I have the attention span of a gnat (on a good day) and I have a hard time believing what my instructor has to say.
Will I ever run into myself in the classroom? If I did - would I know how to handle the situation?
namaste,
ap

I always say it's a b!tch to teach a teacher. We always know how WE would teach the class, so how could the real teacher possibly meet those expectations? LOL
