A brand new home, a brand new nest
Weekend before last my Dad was here for five days. We spent those days working really (I should underline that 'really') hard. Dad had pre-done some stuff, and we ended up at IKEA.
I've included a couple of pictures - they're a tad dark, since they were taken at midnight on the last day.
The thing that makes the biggest difference are the wooden blinds. After they were installed, there is a new shade of light in the apartment. It almost makes the light feel warmer - this gives the entire apartment a new coziness. I really like it :)
I guess that's why people call their home a nest,

Honey, that "nest" looks like it's about sized for a pteradactyl -- your apartment is HUGE!!! I think my house would fit pretty neatly inside it with a little room to spare. Your decorating job is beautiful; glad to hear your "new" home is finally feeling like your "real" home. :)
