I was tagged!

I have been tagged by a dear friend of mine (if you want to know more about her and the fascinating things she does, visit her blog here). The rules of this tagging scheme now state that I have to find six weird things about myself and make them known to all of you.

Hmmm, let me think.

1. I can't do numbers in English. Whenever I have to count, multiply, add or anything else involving numbers I have to do it in Spanish. There's a real reason for this, it has to do with the order I learned languages in. In case you're wondering, yes, I do sometimes dream in English, I just can't count.

2. I'd rather be barefoot than anything else. For those of you that don't have to work with me, this may not seem that weird. The people I work with are all still astounded at the fact that I'll remove my shoes as soon as I can, and walk around the office barefoot. It just makes me happy to be able to wiggle my toes (I can also pick up small objects with them, so they're useful when it comes to retrieving my pen from underneath my desk :) ) . I've been known to take off my shoes (in summer) and walk barefoot for a couple of blocks (when you're in high heels you sometimes get desperate). It must be abnormal, since I get weird looks from everyone.

3. I was not a stellar student during my undergrad years, yet I am developing a weird knack for graduate school. I am not sure why, or if this is a good thing, I think it made it on this list because I still don't know how to handle it.

4. The idea of having pancakes and eggs on the same plate makes me sick. I don't like sweet things touching salty, so I have a hard time not making faces at people that put maple syrup all over their pancake/egg dish. ugh!

5. Having butter on popcorn is a foreign concept to me. Id' rather have hot chili powder :) yummy. Same holds true for most vegetables: carrots, celery and cucumber are delicious with lime and chili.

6. Since I was talking about my feet, I don't like to have anything between my toes. So, none of those shoes where your big toe is segregated from the rest, no toe rings or anything like that. I cringe during a pedicure, since there is always the need to separate your toes forcefully with a tissue. ick! I'd rather just spread out my toes and let them sit by themselves for a while.

So there, nothing too weird, nothing quite out of the ordinary... for that list, you have to ask.. ha ha.

namaste,

LOL - You would *hate* my favorite breakfast combo: pancakes or french toast, over-easy eggs, and nice, salty bacon all on the same plate and absolutely drowning in maple syrup. Heavenly!!
